I want to go on a cruise

A cruise sounds like fun. Go out to sea and stop at some islands or beaches. I like boats and don’t mind people.

Has anyone gone on a cruise out of Galveston? I have some questions. What are the best value cruises? Where are the best cruise destinations? And should I buy a full food and drink package?

Context. I am mid twenties, make ok money, looking to plan for summer, will try to bring my girlfriend.
