I saw DHop today at the dfw airport en route to Houston

Perhaps he’s a dark horse for HC. More likely, he still enjoys Houston and has family, friends here.

He was dressed pretty inconspicuously and masked, probably not wanting to be noticed. How can you not recognize those beautiful eyes though, am I right??

Wasn’t sure what I’d say or if I should leave him alone. But then he was about to slowly walk by. I should’ve quietly said ‘best receiver in the game’. Instead I said ‘hey man. DeAndre Hopkins, good to see you’ he said ‘yeah thanks’ and kept walking. Nice interaction.

About 15 years ago, a similar thing happened with me and Coach Kubes. The elevator opened up at the Scurlock tower in the med center. Kid-me goes ‘hey you’re Gary Kubiak’ as he walked by me. ‘Yup’ is all I got. I should work on these things. Anyone have better stories I can learn from?
