I recently moved to Houston from Baltimore and I’d like to go duck hunting this winter. What is unique about Texas that I may need to know about finding a blind, getting set up with licenses, and organizing a hunt for me and my cousin?

As far as I can tell, most of Texan hunting land is private. Is there a website where I can rent or reserve a blind?

Where is the best place to go? Gulf coast? Inland? East towards Louisiana?

Is there a reddit community where these questions could be better answered?
