I need to graduate ASAP.

In spring 2022 I had to switch from the education major of human development and family studies because I couldn’t get into any classes or the necessary student teaching hours due to Covid restrictions. I’m 26 and I’ve been only a full time student for a while. I switched to communications major and was told I would only need 40-50 more hours as I’m finalizing signing up for fall classes I emailed my advisor asking/clarifying that after fall I should have only about 20 hours left. I was told that I would reach about 90 out of 120 hours for a bachelors degree BUT I would still need 50-60 additional hours to complete the requirements. Apparently it is totally necessary to have a minor to graduate with a communications degree. I had to get put on academic probation because online classes killed me when Covid first started but I’ve been keeping my grades up and had good grades prior to that but the hours I’m allowed to take in a semester are currently limited to 12. I quit my job to do school full time right before Covid and I’m starting to feel like I’m never going to graduate and hours keep piling on without me ever making a dent in it. Does anyone have any advice to get a bachelors from university of Houston ASAP regarding my situation.. this would add like 2 extra years
