I love this team and City
I can’t sleep tonight. Probably because I’m so excited to be going to the game tomorrow, but I decided to watch a good amount of game 5 against the dodgers to keep myself entertained. I smiled so hard just seeing all of us cheer so loud whenever we made a play or had a good hit. Call me freaking weird but I almost wanted to shed a tear when Correa hit that 2-run bomb to extend the lead and the crowd erupted. I honestly don’t think there’s another fanbase like us in baseball, hell maybe all of American sports. I remember being heartbroken earlier in 2017 because I realized my own baseball dreams had come to an end, but seeing that entire series and watching Altuve field the ground ball to win it all in game 7 made me feel reunited with the sport. The chemistry was so unreal with the team and you couldn’t help but smile at how good friends the entire team seemed to be. I’m going to the game tomorrow not because I want to boo the dodgers, although that’s going to be an awesome cherry on top (at this point I’m betting that by opening day 2022 the dodgers will be exposed too), but because I want to feel that electric energy we give off at MMP. I miss what I would feel in 2017 and with the stadium at full capacity and the game pretty much sold out, I’ll be happy even if I just get a taste of what it was like during that magical year.
Also I saw this while watching game 5 tonight and needed to screenshot it The trio
