I love the idea of Josh McCown and don’t understand the negativity

Josh had a great reputation in the NFL. His playing career was extended at least 5 years longer than it should have been because teams wanted him in their locker room and around their young QBs

The trend in all of pro sports is to have young, well-regarded, former players as head coaches. We fucked up letting Vrabel and Kyle Shanahan leave

We had fucking David Culley as our head coach this past year. Are we really mad about the notion of bringing in Josh McCown? Sure it would have been great if he was a coordinator or something for a year or two prior, but he played for 17 years…I'm pretty confident he understands how to coach and call plays.

Josh McCown is also a native Texan and definitely would represent the franchise well if he's successful

I repeat. We had David Culley as our last head coach (and BoB before him). Why are we mad about this?
