I have been waiting since August 5th for Centerpoint to approve my transfer switch for solar

So evidently there is a new requirement in the last few months that Centerpoint requires approval for the automatic transfer switch (ATS). With the approval a Centerpoint technician can come and disconnect the power so that the installers can connect the system to my panel. This is not even the crazy process of approval for PTO which can take many more months to get through to push excess energy to the grid. Does it take almost two months to get approval for nat gas generator installations to get ATS approval? Is anyone else dealing with this bullshit?
