I had two great burgers this week: Uchiko and State of Grace.

The Uchiko burger is on the lunch menu and is phenomenal. I substitute their miso mustard for the aioli and ask for Uchiko’s housemade version of sriracha for my fries. New Executive Chef Ryan Lachaine’s (formerly of Riel) butter burgers have replaced the pharmacy burger on State of Grace’s lunch menu (they have a different steakhouse burger on the dinner menu). I love the butter burgers (the soupiness is not something I expected to enjoy but it provides an incredible explosion of perfect onion with each bite) but the Pharmacy was my all time favorite so I have mixed feelings about the substitution.
