I find it more peaceful to drive within the city than in the suburbs/surrounding cities
I’m talking about myself not the drivers and them being uninsured, etc.
I guess it’s because the speed limits are lower, some parts go to only 30 MPH. Also the roads are narrower so people who speed can’t even go that fast.
Even on the freeways, It’s quite calm when there’s no traffic. I attribute it to density and just more cars on the road. Everting is doing constant 50 – 60 mph.
The suburbs and outlying cities are different man, most noticeable is 288. It’s all over the place. One guy is doing 75 mph, another 80 mph, another 50 mph and another 89 mph. Keeping up with the flow of traffic? The only thing flowing is blood after my brain explodes lol. I just stick to the far right and do the speed limit, no need to keep accelerating and slowing down. I use to drive fast but stopped cause commutes are stressy already I rather stick to one speed
Of course the one thing I hate about both the city and outlier freeways is when you’re in the far right doing the speed limit is when someone
Parking though is a completely different story, I DO not trust parking anywhere in the city as even wealthy areas have breaking in.
