I don’t post a lot here, but I feel that this family’s fight has to be shared.

In November 2021, a special needs student at Alvin High School was raped, and Alvin High school is currently attempting to cover up what took place on their campus. (screenshots from Facebook)

The rapist was suspended for three days and continued to attend courses at AHS. The school will not respond to requests for a statement. Her family is hoping that by sharing Janie’s story, their loved one will finally receive justice.

The most horrifying thing about this heartbreaking situation is that it is not the first time this has occurred.

I graduated from Alvin High School years ago. I am horrified to learn that things have not changed a bit.
