I am looking to meet people and make a group of highly motivated individuals

Now now, before you start saying that I might want to try r4r group for Houston, you and I both know that's not the correct place to meet people the way I wish to.

Fair warning, I have a lot on my mind I might jumble a bunch of thoughts and quotes and ideas from a bunch of Ted talks and other sources, so kindly bear with me. Hopefully I can find time to reorganize later with an edit, but for now, here goes

What made me reach out- So recently I came across FIRE and then started reading about it and watching videos. While watching a Ted talk, I cane across the word work towards being time rich. This term for some reason stuck with me. Also one thing I learnt is start asking why instead of what to define success, otherwise once you achieve the what, life feels empty. So basically I'm trying to say is having a purposeful meaning attached to one's measure of and goals for success.

What I'm looking for here- Believer's, someone who works with a sense of purpose, for some purpose, because once we surround ourselves with believers, they motivate you, they hold you accountable to your dreams and hopes. I'm looking for someone who can understand this statement- ' Don't build a career ladder to nowhere, build a ladder to you'

This could be anyone who doesn't like their job and wants to do something different, something new, but has been scared. I can be that accountability check for you to make sure you work towards achieving your goals. Or atleast help find what that ladder to you means. Because I certainly need that help!

These would be people looking to make a change, an impact, however small or big they dream. When we talk, we have stimulating discussions on how we can change the future, how we create our futures. What it means to be successful? I could keep going with these questions, but I hope you get the gist!!

Now, About me- I'm 24, I have a master's in mechanical engineering, and have been working in the O&G service industry for almost 2 months now. I am doing pretty decent as to where I am at in my career and have attained all the 'what's' I thought of by this age and am on a good track to monetary success in a few years. But as I said before….life feels empty when we meet the 'what' I am looking for how to move from here to doing something that can affect the society, touch people. Also I'm on a student visa on my way to work visa, so there's not much wiggle room for me to think when wondering about what I want to dream of achieving ( difficult to find the why towards my Hussle)

I am hoping I find people to motivate me to learn about something. As of today, I spend my free time staring at a screen watching series/anime but I know that's not where I want to spend my time. I want to spend it trying (I say trying because that's the least I can do) to find a meaningful future.

Who knows we all hit it off and can Venture into creating a unique once in a lifetime business model.
