Hypothetically speaking let’s say McCown is hired and does well. How would it change the hiring process league wide?

Don’t get me wrong it would be an awful decision, but how would it change the hiring process for coaches? Would other teams try to find an older player that they think can lead a team or would they stick to traditional coaches?
