HVAC recommendations?

Looking for good HVAC company. Googled and there are so many options, so looking for recommendations.

I tried one “highly rated” company (won’t slam them here) and was not impressed and kind of feel like it was a scam. The tech showed up late and barely spoke English so it was impossible for me to explain the problem. He poked around a bit, said nothing is wrong with the unit, and left. Why is my central air blowing hot air if nothing is wrong? He said he didn’t know. How can you NOT know? That’s why I hired you! FFS. Nothing was fixed and they still charged me $100 service fee for nothing. I couldn’t even argue with the guy, because he didn’t speak English.

So before I go blindly hiring anyone again, was hoping someone could recommend an actual reliable company.
