Hunter Dozier DFA’d

He plays 1B, 3B, and corner outfield. He was trending upwards in May with a .910 OPS for the month after a dreadful April. He has a .915 OPS vs lefties, but is much weaker against righties. Is he a better bench option than what we have? Is he better than Abreu given the contract?

He probably clears waivers because if picked up, it seems like a claiming team would have to cover about $5M for the remainder of the year, then $9M next year.
