How would living in Houston be making 60k/year?

I have an opportunity to move to Houston for a new job opportunity. For context, Currently I’m making l~50k in a lower COL area. I have two young kids. My wife doesn’t work since anything she would make would basically pay for childcare.

We’re mostly interested in knowing if it’s possible to find somewhere to live in our budget that would be in a good/not bad neighborhood and have a little bit of a yard for the kids to play in. Coming from a smaller city, we’re pretty simple so living in more expensive areas to be close to things to do isn’t a big deal for us.
