How to know my Defensive Driving was accepted?

I send my request through mail on the last Monday. And I noticed my check was charged on 8/14. However, I am not sure if my request was accepted. I also check back the system, and my fine was from $288 to $175. Today is the date that I have to appear at court, how should I confirm my request was accepted? It is a speeding ticket.
