How to get rid of a lot of paper?

Is there a place i can take it? i have like 30 boxes of old but legal documents etc. Whats the best way to get rid of it? Do i just take it to recycling center? do i need to organize it somehow?

I was gonna burn it, but i dont think thats legal.
