How to get In-State College Status at Texas here?

I’ve recently moved here about 3-4 months ago, my mother bought a house here but it is in her name. I’m planning to go to college in texas but I want to be considered as in-state. My mother is not in Texas most of the time because she travels around states but she visits at times and she doesn’t claim me on her tax as a dependent either. I’ve just been working here for the past 3 months and only around 2 of the bills are in my name. Would I have to work a job here for at least 12 months before I am considered as a Texas resident for in-state tuition? Because I can’t show a house in my name for it to be considered. I’ve changed my drivers license to a Texas one and my address is here in Texas. If I were to apply as in-state would that be enough?
