How much do you pay for utilities each month?

My partner and I will be getting an apartment soon and utilities are separate from rent. I've lived in an apartment before but never one where utilities were separate so I am just unsure how to budget for them. Specifically electricity. The complex we're looking at lets us choose what electricity provider we use, so if you have any suggestion on how to pick one let me know!

We'll be living in a 1 bed/1bath.
