How long does it generally take for an accident report to be available?

I was involved in a very serious car accident that HPD responded to a few weeks ago. My car was of course totaled, and Houston being Houston, I have no way of getting around. I desperately need the accident report so things can finally move forward on insurance’s side. It says on the paperwork that it’ll be available after 10 business days, but we are long past that and neither insurance nor legal is able to access it, let alone the public.

Does anyone have any experience with a situation like this? How long has it generally taken?
