How is the safety of this area near the heights?

We are looking to rent a house somewhere in the Heights and we’re curious about this zone in the corner. We’ve driven all around the Heights area to see how the vibe was but once we crossed over Main St here the vibe drastically shifted to a bit shady. There are some really nice and expensive looking houses in there but also a lot of shabbiness compared to the other side of Main. Any insight or first hand experience living in this area?
