How is center point getting away with this?
I read that they had no emergency crews on standby/nearby and this is a major reason for the delays in getting repairs. How is the entire management and executive team not fired for this?
I am downtown near the police station and the courthouse and there’s no repair crews active nor have they been the entire day. They’re relying on generators and every place nearby has no power. If they aren’t even working in this area, there’s no way they’re working in other residential areas.
Are they just trying to save as much money as possible and don’t care about if people don’t have power? Is this an oversight or poor planning? I’d imagine they actually lose money because people are using less power right now.
