How does crossing state lines work with expired Texas paper plates?

I need to drive up to Memphis next month, but I have paper tags on my car that expired in September.

Texas has suspended registrations so I literally can’t get real plates despite my trying to.

Is this going to pose a problem when crossing into Arkansas and Tennessee?
