How do you like living in Jersey Village?

Husband and I are considering moving to JV. We have lived in town together for over a decade (native Houstonians, he’s from the west side I’m from League City) and are ready to live in a safer, calmer neighborhood. Slightly worried we’ll miss all the great restaurants and coffee shops. Attracted to JV for affordability and proximity to town – 20-25 min drive doesn’t seem terrible.

Anyone do a similar move and have an opinion to offer? Good or bad, would like to hear how your life has been since leaving the Loop!
