How Do You Become an Informed Voter in Houston

Hello fellow Houstonians!

With election season upon us, I find myself wanting to participate more actively in our democratic process. However, I often feel a bit lost when it comes to knowing who is running for which positions, what those positions entail, and where each candidate stands on issues important to our community.

I'm curious to know, how do all of you decide who to vote for? Is there a "Houston Voting Guide" or a resource that breaks down the roles of different positions and the stances of candidates in a clear, concise manner? I'm looking for a way to become an informed voter without having to dive into a time-consuming research project.

Any advice on how to navigate this, or resources you could point me towards, would be greatly appreciated.
