How bad is Harris county (zip code 77014) area ?

I currently live in Cleveland Ohio and around 2005 by dad bought a house in this area. He moved away almost 10 Years ago and he’s willing me to give me the house in this area. I was considering moving to Houston and living in the house BUT I have no insight on the neighborhood. When I was younger the neighborhood seemed fine but I know a lot can change in a 20 year span.
