Houston: What is there to do?

I recently moved to Houston at the end of July, I moved from Bangkok, Thailand – I seemed to always have something going on in my life back there, whether it be hanging with myself, friends or family, everything was easy, I took the metro all the time, I rode my scooter everywhere, but here I can't seem to find anything fun to do im 20 so no bars or clubs I can't even drink here with my girls. Please please please let me know what there is to do here before I die from boredom!
