Houston Water Question.

My warm water in west third ward smells like an old bucket of snails left in sea water. Some people here are saying bacteria some are saying added chemicals. I decided if the water treatment plant says its safe to continue using it…

But is it safe to do a nasal rinse with this strange water or would I just make nasal infection worse. I've been rinsing the past couple days and now red is coming out when I nasal rinse and my sinuses feel much worse. Not sure if I should ramp up the rinses or stop them all together.
