Houston Vaccinations, Posts Getting Removed

I am passionate about people getting vaccinated. I think that any information we can use to convince families or friends is invaluable.

I had a post about the much higher hospitalization rates for blacks and Hispanics. Last I checked we have both groups in Houston. There is a litany of reasons from skepticism due to Tuskegee to socioeconomic as to why. I don't care the reason I want adults vaccinated because the risk may help you avoid the hospital.

This is from Kaiser:

As observed in prior weeks, Black and Hispanic people have received smaller shares of vaccinations compared to their shares of cases and compared to their shares of the total population in most states. The share of vaccinations received by Black people also continues to be smaller than their share of deaths in most states, although in some states it is similar to the share of deaths.

Our Houston nurses are getting their ass kicked. They will solve the shortage of ICU beds by requiring nurses and aides to stay for another shift. Yes, you cant go hime after your shift if they need you.My post was pulled for not being about Houston. That isn't a rule in this subreddit. I think all our health is at risk in Houston w/o more vaccinations at 30+ but if 18+ makes you happy, then let's do it.
