Houston to Chicago Drive

Anyone done drive to Houston to Chicago recently? Any tips, only found this thread 4 years ago.

Which route is best? Would like the flattest/easiest highway route if possible. Google is suggesting going thru Texarkana then Little Rock and Memphis.
