Houston staffing companies, who to use and who to watch out for?

I have been trying for about a month and a half now to land a new job somewhere in the tech industry. I currently work in construction and I'm just completely fed up with my company. I have done a pretty deep dive into staffing companies in Houston but cant for the life of me find a reputable one that actually answers emails and phone call follow ups, and reviews on most of them are generally really bad.

Does anyone have any recommendations and possible first hand good experiences with any? I am also open to nationwide IT staffing recommendations and working remote as that's what I do now. I have been stalking linkedin/indeed/dice/etc and there are always 80+ applicants within 5 minutes of jobs being posted. I am trying to get something very basic and entry level somewhere in the help desk realm to get my feet wet. Any help or leads would be greatly appreciated.
