Houston Restaurants Closed Today Due to Tropical Depression Beta

In a progression that evokes memories of tropical storm Allison, tropical storm Beta (now downgraded to a depression) is moving slowly, flooding some parts of Buffalo Bayou and areas south of Houston. Up to now, the hardest hit areas have been in south Houston (and communities south of Houston), but one prediction is that rain will start shifting east.

Out of concern for the safety of guests and employees alike, some Houston restaurant owners are deciding to close for the rest of Tuesday, September 22.
