Houston Restaurant Weeks founder dies
Cleverley Stone, a philanthropist and media personality who founded Houston Restaurant Weeks, died after a battle with cancer.
She was 68 years old, according to a May 28 press release.
Stone founded Houston Restaurant Weeks in 2003, and it’s since gone on to become the largest annual fundraiser for the Houston Food Bank, the largest food bank in the United States.
