Houston real estate firm seeks bankruptcy protection following landlord’s lawsuit

A Houston-based single-family real estate firm has sought Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection just weeks after being hit with a breach of contract suit by its former landlord and having its deal to be acquired by another real estate firm being put on hold.
