Houston Public Media receives largest donation in its history

Houston Public Media received its largest donation ever, an $8 million testamentary donation from an anonymous couple. 

The grant will go toward news, education, arts and sciences programming, a Sept. 25 press release stated. Houston Public Media, which is based on the University of Houston campus, is the local affiliate of National Public Radio and the Public Broadcasting Service.
