Houston professional services provider hires its first chief legal officer

G&A Partners, a Houston-based professional services provider, has formed a new C-suite position.

Stephen Calvert has been named as the firm’s new chief legal officer and general counsel.

G&A had a dispersed legal model in the past, and this is the first time the company has centralized the legal function.

Jose Laurel, the recruitment process outsourcing director at G&A, said the reason for the new position was due to the continued growth and the needs of the business.
