Houston places to explore, make friends or socialize as a young adult?

Hi, does anyone know where people my age (20) can go to interact/make friends with other LGBT people in Houston? Preferably not bars/clubs as I’m not into the nightlife or crowded scenes and prefer something more calm. I have trouble socializing and speaking to people but have been feeling that I’m going to be missing out on the fun “20s” stuff :(( Thanks for any suggestions! 😀
