Houston peeps- do you drink tap water or buy water?

I just came back from my parent’s who live in the Midwestern suburbs. They also have a water softener and their tap water tastes so good. I drink it straight from the sink. Coming back to Houston, not even my water filter can make the water taste good. It smells/tastes what I imagine toilet water to taste like LOL I’m curious, what do y’all do? I would say majority of my friends refuse to drink Houston water and they buy bottled water but I drink a TON of water and it’s so wasteful to me. I’ve considered water delivery service as well if anyone has any companies they like that they want to share. I read tons of mixed opinions about the safety of Houston’s tap water. What are y’all’s preference and opinions?
