Houston Mayor John Whitmire names new interim finance director

Houston John Whitmire announced on Jan. 5 that he appointed Melissa Dubowski as the city’s interim finance director. Dubowski succeeds Will Jones, who was appointed by former Mayor Sylvester Turner on Sept. 28, 2022.
