Houston marathon

We’re visiting and trying to figure out how to best get from mile-marker to mile-marker to support in as many spots as we can. Does anyone know- Will Ubers be available in the middle of the course, given it’s 3-4 miles wide at some points? We looked into bike or scooter rentals but it was looking to be 100s per person.
