Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Committee Member and Annual Membership

Hello- I am interested in joining the Rodeo membership, there's a $50 annual one and a $500 lifetime one– anyone know the perks or which one would be more beneficial?

Committee Volunteering- I'm wanting to get involved and volunteer. Is it hard to get onto a committee and how much time commitment is it usually for the whole season? Does it also grant you a gold badge and if so what benefits does it give you? thanks!
