Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo CEO to leave
The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo announced May 12 that Joel Cowley is stepping down from the organization.
Cowley’s last day as president and CEO is May 22. Chief Mission Officer Chris Boleman has been promoted to president and CEO, and his first day in the new role will be May 25.
Cowley has been with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo for 15 years and was named president and CEO in 2013. He’s now leaving for an unspecified “opportunity that has a direct impact on the agricultural industry,”…
