Houston Kiwanis?

I would really love to get involved with the Kiwanis in Houston but they are invite only. I was heavily involved in Key Club in high school and won a prestigious award, and then continued working with Circle K in college. Does anyone know anyone involved in Houston Kiwanis that would be willing to sponsor my membership into the club? I’m new to Houston and would love to serve the community. Thank you!
