Houston ISD schools operating without heat

Lyons elementary did NOT have heat 01/17. They had to resort to small portable heaters for half of the building. Was told if the problem wasn't solved that school would be cancelled for today. Sent the kids since no cancellation notice , just called and will not be given a straight answer if today 01/18 if the main heaters are still not working.

How can I get this addressed ASAP? No one will give me a straight answer , which obviously means it's not working, but I want them held accountable for how they are choosing to follow through.
