Houston ISD board candidates talk teacher pay, student priorities at Aug. 26 forum

Fifteen of the 16 candidates running for five seats on the Houston ISD board of trustees that are up for election this November took part in a candidate forum Aug. 26, giving voters an opportunity to ask questions and hear their thoughts on some of the key issues facing the district.
