Houston is Live on Town Park Dr!

Anybody know anything about Town Park Dr. & S Gessner in Sharpstown / Westchase*? I’m an Uber driver and every time I end up on Town Park Dr. right there on a weekend night I’m always fascinated and curious. The few blocks right there are always PACKED with people. The sidewalks are lined with people / vendors who look to be grilling and selling food. The strip center on the corner usually has a full parking lot with tons of people coming and going as well. The majority of the people socializing and lining the area are Latinx.

Anybody know what this is? It seems like a street fair or something, but from what I can tell it happens every weekend. There’s never any signage, really, and I don’t ever see a concert or dance club or anything attracting the crowd. I absolutely love Houston for its little pockets of culture and tradition and I’m just curious to know more and to find out how I get invited to the cookout. 😂
