Houston Hobby Airport Question

We have a connecting flight in Houston arriving at 12:40, our next flight leaves Houston at 1:50 going to Cancun so we will have to go through Customs in Houston but will only have an hour and 10 minutes between flights. Never been through Houstons airport, is this makeable?
