Houston help me become a dog dad again?

Hello Houston!

I’m just a normal guy from Iowa who stumbled upon a beautiful dog in your city up for adoption. My problem is, they only consider applications within the immediate area. I understand the rule, I just want to be the exception to it because I’m obsessed with this dog.

I’ve fostered and trained dogs for years, and lost mine about a year ago. I’ve got plenty of experience.

I guess I’m wondering if anyone volunteers (or knows someone who) for this organization that I could talk to or plead my case to.
