Houston Fund for Social Justice and Economic Equity launches to support grassroots nonprofits that uplift the Black community
A group of 13 Black leaders in Houston united to create a new racial equity fund dedicated to addressing social and economic inequalities. The fund is committed to raising $25 million, which will support grassroots nonprofits that uplift the Black community.
