Houston food and beverage companies donate time, food, money to help unemployed

As restaurants and hospitality businesses lay off thousands of workers and overall unemployment in Texas skyrockets, the coronavirus pandemic and related social distancing mandates continue to ravage the Houston economy. Local restaurants, nonprofits and other food companies are doing their part to try to help those who are unemployed or simply have an empty fridge.
